Backpacking trip in Fiordland

We did an awesome 40km hike on the Hollyford Track in Fiordland, the southern part of the South Island....It was great to put those packs on and do the kilometers. It is a lowland hike, almost sealevel, but you can see these peaks in the distance, snow capped glaciers, melting clean clear water into the rivers and streams that are so clean you can bring one water bottle each and just fill up each time you cross, clean in the river, etc.! COLDY ICE MELT! We slept on a dried up riverbed the first night, and beside the river the second. It was awesome. Apparently it rains here most days of the year, and we scored on 3 full days of Sunshine so it was amazing our luck.
