On this stretch of coast during the Winter which is this time of year down here, there is the Sardine Run, where millions of sardines rush back up the east coast towards warmer waters....along with them come clusters of birds out to sea dive bombing to get some grub, dolphins, whales, and yes you guessed it our friends the old sharks!! A big concern on this stretch of coastline, although you will still see surfers waiting patiently for waves, but everyone is aware and looking around them in the water ready to paddle back fast if necessary~
